The projector will be installed on the secondary channel if the IKEA Grid structure, TEGO. The secondary channels will be placed next to each other for stability reasons. Because this is a complex installation, this will not be available for self-install.
Pre-install requirements:
- Have one LAN connection near the player
- The projectors will be mounted on the TEGO, please have extra beams ready
- This solution will need three power outlets, one for the player, one for the projector for the wall and one for the projector on the sofa
Things to consider
- Secure a frame around the solution to ensure visual separation from the rest of the area. Making the solution stand out from the surroundings creates a strong impact.
- Use a suitable display technique for perimeter breaks to support the main product and enable interaction with the digital content to support the story and message.
- Work with one colour to secure a visual impact. For this solution, we recommend working with a neutral colour to allow flexibility over time when changing the product. A grey NCS 7500-N is used in the solution.
- When working with projectors, only use a neutral white NCS S0500-N to ensure that the colours and images look realistic. Also, use a white sofa. This colour of sofa will work with all the different colour options of the projection.
- Include direct takeaway products in the solution, making sure they are integrated into the composition.
- For a better visual result of the projection, avoid using general lighting fixtures or spotlights.

Secure the placement of fabric samples close to the solution, to make sure customers can touch and feel the real fabric and see the real colours.
