Self-install option

For screen sizes up to 75″, ZetaDisplay offers the option

for IKEA store to install these by themselves.

Advantages are:

  • 20% lower cost on modules in iShop
  • More control and flexibility over when installation is carried out, at own time schedule and without external coordination
  • Less carbon footprint

Liability Waiver

Taking the self-install option means that the IKEA store is fully responsible for performing all installation activities at the store premises.

  • If the shipment is damaged, IKEA must report this immediately to ZetaDisplay without installing the equipment
  • Once the equipment has been unpacked by IKEA, ZetaDisplay can only honour limited factory warranty in the event the equipment is found to be faulty.
  • ZetaDisplay offers only basic telephone or email technical support to assist IKEA with the installation
  • The Self-Installation is considered complete, and the invoice will be issued whichever occurs first of the following:
    1. When ZetaDisplay can verify, or is informed, that the screen has been added to the CMS
    2. At least five (5) calendar days have elapsed since the shipment of the equipment
  • If the IKEA store requests a professional installation service by ZetaDisplay after attempting a Self-Installation, ZetaDisplay will offer on-site assistance as an additional service.

IKEA Store Tasks

  • Complete store information sheet and send back to ZetaDisplay for CMS setup.
  • Make sure the network is available for the screens, e.g. VLAN168 and there is 24/7 power.
  • Install the screens.

Zetadisplay Tasks

  • Organize shipment of the equipment to IKEA.
  • Provide store information sheet.
  • Set up players and locations in CMS upon receiving completed sheet.
  • Provide installation Guides
