Revolutionised Cash Lane management



We have revolutionised Cash Lane management in three stores across Canada, Ottawa, Halifax and Burlington.
When approaching the Cash Lanes, shoppers need to quickly be able to see which lanes are open, which are closed and which have restrictions of use, such as being cash only or not suitable for wide loads.
We developed a solution that has a 55â display ceiling mounted above each Cash Lane, of which there are between 10 â 12 in each store.
These feature two pre-programmed playlists, one for open lanes, with bright and colourful content, and one for closed lanes, where the content is greyed out.
The Cash Lane Managers can use the display remote control to quickly open or close a lane, and reassign what type of lane it is, whether itâs Fast Track, for a certain number of items or cash only, for example.
They can also use our CMS to update the information on the playlists, such as when new credit card types are accepted. This new management method makes it easier for the teams to operate quickly in response to busy periods, and it gives the customers all the information they need to make speedy and efficient payments.
